Job Offer: IT System Administrator

Extending our international team, we are looking for an IT system administrator.

Job Description:

  • Administration, development and extension of a Linux server-based cloud computing infrastructure (virtual compute, storage, network) to execute EDA (electronic design automation) chip design engineering work tasks
  • Maintenance and integration of collaboration services (JIRA/Confluence, Gitlab, databases)
  • Support in maintaining and monitoring of MS-Windows/Sharepoint based Office365 environment, in-house network and technical office infrastructure (IP telephony, workstations, lab measurement equipment, smart office and building automation)
  • User administration, support and onboarding
  • Maintaining data protection compliance

Requirements:

  • IT-related training and experience as IT/systems administrator
  • Skills in hardware and system configuration
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/MS Windows), usage of databases and scripting languages (Shell scripts, Perl, Python)
  • Basic understanding of network technology and network system security (firewall)
  • Self-driven and hands-on way of working
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Team-player
