Job Offer: Team lead Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design


Join our growing team in Dresden as a Team Lead in Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design. In this role, you will combine people leadership with hands-on technical guidance, leading a team of engineers while shaping our AMS IC design methodology and project execution.

Job Description:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 design engineers, including regular feedback and support for professional growth as well as hiring at the Dresden site
  • Plan and coordinate technical work packages, distribute tasks within the team, track progress, and ensure high-quality project execution
  • Define architectures and specifications for analog/mixed-signal circuits, including schematic design, simulation, and post-layout verification
  • Drive continuous improvement of AMS design flows, methodologies, documentation, and best practices across projects
  • Design and implement mixed-signal IPs such as Data Converters, PLLs, SerDes, and Memories in advanced CMOS technologies (28nm, 22nm, and below)
  • Support project acquisition and planning, as well as effort estimations to align design goals with product requirements

Requirements:

  • University degree (Dipl.-Ing., M.Sc., or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • At least 5 years experience in Analog and Mixed-Signal and/or RF circuit design
  • Hands-on experience with system architecture, schematic design, layout implementation, as well as circuit modelling (VerilogA, VerilogAMS, SystemVerilog)
  • Proven experience leading technical teams or work packages, including task planning, delegation, mentoring, and technical decision-making
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people leadership, project execution, and methodology development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
  • Professional communication skills in English and German

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the development, documentation and distribution of design methodology
  • Hands-on experience with IC design in advanced-node CMOS technologies

Full-time (up to 40 hours per week)
