Racyics® is a GlobalFoundries® channel partner for EMEA since 2013 and offers access to MPWs, production mask sets and wafers for all GlobalFoundries® technologies.
The experienced Racyics® mixed-signal design team offers custom IP realizations including ultra-low power Mixed-Signal IP and custom high performance SERDES blocks in advanced nodes.
Racyics® offers complete turnkey solutions including supply change management (wafer, assembly and test).
Racyics in-house IC package development enables co-design and verification of the IC packages in short development cycles and offers state-of-the-art IC packaging solutions from low to high volume.
Our core strength is our outstanding performance. Racyics® founders and key team members have worked together at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, since 2003.
They were involved in numerous advanced research projects in close cooperation with leading semiconductor companies. These projects resulted in various award-winning designs of ultra-low power multi-million gates SoCs and complex mixed signal circuits in advanced nodes.
From this experienced team, Racyics was established in 2009 as an independent design service provider with focus on advanced nodes. Since then, Racyics has executed design services for leading global microelectronic companies like Infineon and Intel, as well as for German hidden champions such as Hyperstone.
From the beginning, Racyics has taken advantage of having Europe’s largest semiconductor ecosystem Silicon Saxony next door. In close collaboration with the local GlobalFoundries® design enablement team and the Technische Universität Dresden the first 28nm design was taped-out in 2012.
The Racyics in-house design flow is enabled for various advanced FDSOI, planar and FinFET nodes from leading foundries.
Growing fast and continuously, Racyics moved to a 1200m² office in Dresden in 2015 and opened two new sites in Duisburg and Frankfurt/Main in 2021. The complete design team counting over 120 employees delivers professional services with a direct link to world class research of the Technische Universität Dresden, which is located next to the Racyics Dresden office.
