Job Offer: Working Student – Chiplet Channel Simulation
As a working student you will be responsible for designing and simulating a communication channel within a chiplet system. Your work will involve optimizing channel performance and validating simulation results against real-world data.
Job Description:
- Design and optimize communication channels for chip-to-chip interfaces on IC-package substrates.
- Develop and implement structures for Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements.
- Extract and refine models for chiplet interconnects using 2D/3D electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
- Perform signal and power integrity simulations within the chiplet system.
- Validate your models by comparing simulation results with actual VNA measurements.
Requirements:
- Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- Knowledge in RF systems, two-point network and network theory
- Knowledge in time and frequency domain modelling
- Self-Driven and hands-on way of working
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking
