TU Chemnitz Lecture “Digital ASIC Design – From RTL to Chips”
July 23, 2024 −
A few weeks ago, our colleague Elias Kögel gave a practical lecture on “Digital ASIC Design – From RTL to Chips” at the Technische Universität Chemnitz.
This session was a part of “Complex Practical Course in Microelectronics”, offering a comprehensive walkthrough and live demonstration of Digital ASIC Design from the initial concept to the final layout.
Elias showcased the entire process using real tools in real-time, providing students with an invaluable hands-on experience. To further enhance their understanding, he also presented an FPGA implementation of the same example, highlighting the similarities and core principles in digital design.
The lecture was attended by enthusiastic students from Electrical Engineering and Microsystems, specializing in Micro- and Nanoelectronics. Working with such a small, talented group of eager learners was incredibly rewarding.
At Racyics, we are passionate about fostering knowledge and supporting the next generation of innovators. Many thanks to Elias for his professionalism and exceptional contribution to the field!
