IP-SoC days in Grenoble
December 02, 2025 −
Racyics participated in this year’s Design And Reuse IP-SoC EU Days in Grenoble. During the event, Patrick Döll, Head of Design Enablement at Racyics, introduced the newly formed Design Enablement Team and explained how it is built around the company’s makeChip platform.
The presentation focused on the EuroCDP – EU Chips Design Platform initiative, which aims to help companies and research organizations design chips independently. Patrick Döll explained how Racyics supports this goal as a Design Enablement Team and how the cloud-based design environment makeChip is integrated into the EuroCDP framework. He also provided an overview of funding opportunities offered by the European Union.
In addition, the session highlighted the capabilities of the makeChip platform. It already provides access to proven design flows and methodologies, reference designs, commercial EDA tools, advanced process technologies, and complex IP. These features enable users to develop chips more efficiently in a modern cloud environment.
The session took place on 3 December 2025 at Hôtel Europole in Grenoble, France.
As a sponsor of the IP-SoC EU Days, Racyics was also present with a dedicated booth. Together with Marcus Pietzsch, Head of SoC Design, the team shared insights into the company’s service portfolio and IP offering, including live demonstrations.
